“Five Hundred Years of Reformation”
November 16-18, 2017
The Adventist Society for Religious Studies invites proposals for brief scholarly papers for presentation at the 2017 meeting in Boston, Massachusetts on the theme: Five Hundred Years of Reformation. We look for a variety of approaches to the theme. Papers may focus on events, developments, conditions, etc., consequent to the Reformation. We welcome all disciplines and ideological streams. Your research may explore the following areas: biblical, historical, theological, philosophical, practical, E. G. White and Adventist studies.
A 200-word abstract must accompany your proposal. Please submit proposals and abstracts in MS Word format to Tarsee Li (firstname.lastname@example.org) no later than March 31, 2017. All presentations are limited to eighteen minutes if you wish to present the entirety of your thoughts. An 18-minute paper translates to approximately 2,500 words. Notifications regarding proposals will go out by May 12, and final drafts must be submitted no later than the first week of November to avoid losing your slot in the program.
